HERMES by Hiroshi Sugimoto

Hermes This is the third collaboration of Editeur Hermès fashion house with various artists and labels to create new fabrics. Hiroshi Sugimoto made 140 silk scarf (available in 20 different models) that depict the artist's experiments with Polaroid with natural light and shades of color. For his project, "Colors of Shadow", Hiroshi was inspired by Buddhist teachings, scientific experiments with color developed by Isaac Newton and the studies on Gestalt. The images of size 55 × 55, are printed directly on silk, sold in a cylindrical container and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Each scarf will retail for around $8,860. I adore polaroid, I'm a fanatic of polaroid colors and this is the best project I've never seen between fashion and art.
