FOR YOUR EYES ONLY

I started working at this blog inspired by my lover's eyes. He everyday gives to me peace and security. He is my resting ground and my wind between hair. He always advised me to do everything as if for the first time, to take seriously my frivolity and go on forever. He is my anchor when I get lost in the ocean of a thousand dreams. Today his big eyes are finally FREE, look at the sky without glasses and challenge the waves of the sea unimpeded.

I'm with you.
Forever With You.

In these pictures there is a fine beauty combined with nostaglia. Memories flooded into the clear water of a swimming pool of a Hollywood home. Vintage inspired fashion and fantasy. Peaceful years of wealth to turn the page.

Love at First Sight

They’re both convinced
that a sudden passion joined them.
Such certainty is beautiful
but uncertainty is more beautiful still.
Since they’d never met before, they’re sure
that there’d been nothing between them.
But what’s the word from the streets, staircases, hallways –
perhaps they’ve passed each other by a million times?

I want to ask them
if they don’t remember –
a moment face to face
in some revolving door?
perhaps a “sorry” muttered in a crowd?
a curt “wrong number” caught in the receiver? –
but I know the answer.

No, they don’t remember.
They’d be amazed to hear
that Chance has been toying with them
now for years.
Not quite ready yet
to become their Destiny,
it pushed them close, drove them apart,
it barred their path,
stifling a laugh,
and then leaped aside.

There were signs and signals
even if they couldn’t read them yet.
Perhaps three years ago
or just last Tuesday
a certain leaf fluttered
from one shoulder to another?
Something was dropped and then picked up.

Who knows, maybe the ball that vanished
into childhood’s thickets?
There were doorknobs and doorbells
where one touch had covered another
beforehand.
Suitcases checked and standing side by side.
One night perhaps some dream
grown hazy by morning.

Every beginning
is only a sequel, after all,
and the book of events
is always open halfway through.

boamistura street art / Luz nas Vielas.São Paulo

The work of Boa Mistura is all about the love of graffiti, colour and life. This group of 5 Spanish artists is, as the name says, a good mixture. Arkoh, Derko, Pahg, Purone and Rdick have developed their work in different fields, applying both a diversity of styles and the different views of each member. Boa Mistura represents a mixture of perspectives which complement, influence and mix themselves together in order to create something better. From graffiti and mural painting, to graphic design and illustration, Boa Mistrua want to give the world its colour back. 5 heads, 10 hands, just one heart. More here

Julie Tremblay Empty/Solid

These sculptures speak about lightness, near to the afterlife. I've always appreciate the empty in the Art, for me is an essential part of aestetic. Empty and solid in balance with the universe.

Julie Tremblay is a sculptor living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She makes sculptures out of left overs from metal sheets that have been used to make bottle caps.
